Professor in Neurology & Neurosurgery and Biomedical Engineering Université McGill | Dr. Collins'
laboratory develops computerized image processing techniques such as
non-linear image registration and model based segmentation to
automatically identify structures within the human brain. These methods
are applied to understand the healthy brain, from early childhood to old
age. The methods are also applied for image guides neurosurgery and in
neurological diseases such as multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, Alzheimer's
disease and Parkinson's disease. |
Dr. Greve has been a core programmer of the FreeSurfer neuroimaging analysis package since 1999. His research interests include multi-modal integration, registration, fMRI time series analysis, and PET analysis. |
![]() ![]() Assistant professeur, Department de psychiatry and biomedical engineering McGill University | Dr. Chakravarty is interested in the anatomy of the brain. His group develops and uses novel computational neuroanatomical methods to better understand how the brain changes through development, aging, and in illness and how the dynamics of brain anatomy are influenced by genetics and environment. He leads a dynamic multi-disciplinary group at the Computational Brain Anatomy (CoBrA) Laboratory at the Douglas Mental Health University Institute. |
Dr. Armony's reseach focuses on the neurobiology of emotional processing and its interaction with other cognitive systems, such as attention and memory, in healthy humans and in individuals sufferings from psychiatric and neurological disorders. To do so, he uses a variety of techniques such as functional and structural MRI, and, more recently, EEG, MEF and NRIS. |
